Role Profile Reporting to the Head of Sales, Americas and Strategic Accounts, the Senior Sales Manager for Strategic Accounts will lead all commercial engagements with key global B2B nutrition and dairy customers.
This role focuses on driving business growth, building long-term partnerships, and delivering value-added solutions aligned with customer needs and company strategy.
Additionally, the role includes leading a high-performing sales team to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute tailored account strategies for our strategic global customers that prioritise value added growth.
Build multi-level relationships within strategic accounts and Tirln to ensure alignment and foster collaboration.
People Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing sales team focused on delivering results with our strategic accounts.
Coach and mentor the sales team to develop capability and performance, with a focus on consultative, value-based and insight selling.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Sales & Value Add Growth: Lead sales forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking.
Deliver monthly and annual sales targets and profitability goals.
Identify new areas of growth and manage a pipeline of new opportunities across all Strategic accounts.
Customer Engagement: Own the leadership role within strategic accounts and be the voice of the customer within Tirln.
Deepen Tirlns understanding of customer challenges and opportunities through high customer engagement, company research and analysis.
Champion a customer-centric culture to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
Negotiate complex long-term contracts and pricing agreements.
Market & Industry Insight: Monitor global dairy trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Provide feedback to internal teams on product development and innovation opportunities.
Translate insights into tangible positive business impact for Tirln and strategic accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Growth Ingredients Category team to execute Tirlns product growth strategy.
Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Quality, and Marketing to deliver tailored solutions.
Ensure operational excellence in order fulfilment and service delivery.
Key Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Food Science, or related field.
Minimum ***** years in B2B sales within the dairy or food ingredients industry.
Proven track record in managing large global strategic accounts.
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets, through team empowerment as well as personal execution.
Achievement of delivering a pipeline of new opportunities with high conversion rate.
Proven experience in team motivation and culture building.
Ability to work in a matrix organisation and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Core Competencies Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
Exceptional leadership, coaching and team development skills.
Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing abilities.
Data-driven decision-making and financial literacy.
Strong presentation ability, comfortable in delivering high quality presentations to Senior Leadership in Strategic accounts and Tirlan.
