Post Summary
To purpose of this role is to manage and ensure the annual delivery of the risk register collation and compilation with the Risk Management Team as a key part of the Risk Management Framework for Trinity College Dublin University. The role holder will work directly with all areas of the University and contribute to the overall Risk Office training programme. The role will strengthen the reporting effectiveness of the Risk Office and deliver improvements on risk reporting across the University. This role will impact all areas of the University and provide a strong oversight role for the University within the Risk Office as the University focuses on ensuring a transparent and effective internal control framework. The role will work on projects as part of the ERM Department’s work programme and manage relevant projects as necessary. The role holder will also support the embedding of the Risk Management system which was recently implemented across the University. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that Risk Management is consistently integrated and evidenced in the culture of the University and in accordance with legislative requirements and leading practice across the higher education sector.

Specific Purpose Contract
The specific purpose of this employment is to fill an Administrative Officer vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the post holder from maternity leave. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original post holder is expected to return. If the post holder does not return to work the post will be filled through open competition.

This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€70,240 - €90,865 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
