Purpose of the Post
The Senior Medical Officer will assist the Consultant in Public Health Medicine and the health protection team in the prevention, investigation, surveillance and control of infectious disease, as per the Infectious Disease Regulations **** as amended, and undertake other duties as designated by the Director of Public Health or as appropriate to the office.
