MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Sales Account Manager for a long-established and rapidly growing food manufacturer to join their evolving commercial team. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven Sales or Account Executive ready to take the next step in their career, with exposure to some of the biggest names in retail. You'll play a key role in managing and growing existing accounts while supporting strategic expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of retail accounts, building strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
* Support new business development through distributor engagement and identifying new routes to market.
* Monitor the effectiveness of marketing and promotional campaigns, providing data-led insights.
* Use CRM and retailer systems to manage account performance and reporting.
* Achieve and exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams and senior management to align sales strategy with wider business goals.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales or account management role (FMCG or food sector preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commercially aware and results-focused, with experience working to sales targets.
* Proficiency in CRM systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.
