Our client is seeking an experienced
Director Fund Operations (AIFM)
to lead operational aspects of private market funds domiciled in Ireland. The ideal candidate will thrive in a standalone leadership position, overseeing fund operations and ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements. The role is based in the city centre and offers one day a week from home.
Responsibilities
* Supervise all aspects of financial reporting, including NAV review, tax obligations, and external audit coordination for fund entities.
* Oversee liquidity management, encompassing cash flow forecasting, monitoring compliance and executing fund transactions such as capital calls and distributions.
* Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to the Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA) and keeping abreast of relevant regulatory developments.
* Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to prepare quarterly investor reports and address client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers—including fund administrators, auditors, and depositaries—to ensure smooth operational processes and reporting accuracy.
Candidate requirements
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in fund operations, with a strong background in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
* In-depth understanding of Central Bank and EU regulatory frameworks governing AIFM entities and their managed funds.
* Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including cash flow planning, RCF management, and execution of fund-related payments.
* Proven experience in financial reporting, audits, and valuations, alongside sound knowledge of tax structures and ESG compliance standards.
