Overview
Paragon Professional Services, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking OCONUS Guards (Male or Female) to work on a government contract. The ideal candidate will be assigned to the Moscow Embassy to staff static posts throughout the compound.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* While standing, posted guards will conduct access control and screening procedures, vehicular inspections, and roving patrols.
* Work schedule: 6 days a week, up to 60 hours.
Qualifications - Experience, Education And Certification
* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with two years’ experience in the military, police or commercial guard force.
* Top Secret Clearance (Active)
* Diplomatic Passport
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics
* Ability to use a computer including all common office management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
* Perform security duties at fixed, or roving patrol posts.
* Provide assistance to local authorities in thwarting criminal and terrorist acts.
* Perform access control duties to limit entry to authorized personnel or visitors.
* Operating walk-through metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors, X-ray inspection machines, electronic hydraulic barriers, itemizers, and other monitoring devices.
DOT Covered / Safety-Sensitive
* This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.

* Ability to remain alert and observant during extended periods of standing, sitting, or patrolling.

* Capability to operate security and communications equipment (radios, surveillance monitors, access control systems).
Work Environment
* Work is primarily performed at a fixed location, including entrances, lobbies, checkpoints, or designated patrol areas.
* Environments may include office buildings, outdoor perimeters, parking facilities, or other assigned posts.
* Duties may require standing or sitting for extended periods, as well as walking short patrol routes.
* The role may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and interactions with the public.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* No supervisory responsibilities.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
