Aftersales Advisor Job Description
Gowan Home seeks an experienced Aftersales Advisor to join their busy operation in Citywest. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective aftersales support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interact daily with consumers/retailers on the phone and via email regarding aftersales queries
* Log service calls from consumers/retailers within 24 hours
* Ensure extensive troubleshooting during service call logging process
* Offer technical assistance when required to consumers/retailers
* Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for updates on spare parts for service calls
* Update service calls with latest information available
* Work closely with engineers and update findings/actions directly with consumers/retailers
* Weekly review of open engineer reports and take necessary actions
* Compile ad-hoc service reports when required
* Proactively inform consumers/retailers of service call status
* Input data accurately into HQ and Intact IQ systems
* Process returns/credit requests from retailers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Critical customer service experience
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Previous experience in aftersales environment advantageous
* Product knowledge of kitchen and/or electrical appliance industry beneficial
* Excellent attention to detail
* Complete ownership of tasks from beginning to end
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Flexible and reliable
* Highly IT proficient
