Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team in Derry. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our domiciliary care services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Field Based Work: You will be primarily based in the field, covering areas in Derry as required and working from our office at Glendermott Road when needed.
* Service User Visits: You will arrange initial visits to service user homes and complete Service User Agreements, along with risk assessments for and with service users.
* Quality Assurance: You will contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of need for each service user, undertake and complete Quality Annual Monitoring visits, and check service user satisfaction through regular telephone contact.
* Deputising: In the absence of the Service Manager, you will deputise with the management of day-to-day operations.
Essential Criteria:
* Experience: Minimum of 18 months paid experience supporting older people in a domiciliary/social care setting.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Flexible Approach: A flexible approach to working hours.
* Driving Licence: Full driving licence and access to a car.
* On-Call Support: Ability to provide on-call support to Care Workers outside of office hours.
