Executive Chef Position

Key Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation and Cooking: Develop and implement creative menu items, collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared consistently.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to drive innovation and excellence in food offerings.
* Maintain rigorous standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times.
Culinary Leadership:
* Support senior chefs in managing the kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Oversee key sections of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and effective teamwork.
* Develop and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Inventory Management:
* Strategically manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize resources.
* Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and readily available for use.
Quality Assurance:
* Monitor food quality, presentation, and taste, driving continuous improvement and adherence to the highest standards.
* Implement and maintain strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
Communication and Teamwork:
* Work closely with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate orders, manage workflow, and promote a collaborative kitchen culture.
Innovation and Creativity:
* Contribute innovative ideas to enhance food offerings and kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience in a busy kitchen environment, demonstrating a strong passion for culinary excellence and leadership.
