He/she will participate in the comprehensive ongoing Education and locally participating in the National Cancer Control Program ongoing education for cancer nurses.
Liaise with University College Dublin (UCD) on the delivery of our level 8 CPD programs.
Provide one to one preceptorship to staff in the clinical area.
The post-holder will help formulate clinical care pathways, algorithms and clinical treatment protocols in collaboration with consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists in the Cancer Directorate.
The SDF promote the standardisation of evidence based care through research and education.
