Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced AP Specialist to join our team for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in our Dublin office. The successful candidate will handle all core Accounts Payable activities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries, and support month‑end close activities.
Main Responsibilities
* Monitor the AP mailboxes daily and respond to queries from stakeholders.
* Review, validate, and process high volumes of supplier invoices in a timely manner.
* Identify and resolve invoice issues such as PO queries and approvals.
* Liaise with the accounting team to obtain accurate coding details for non‑product invoices.
* Support issue resolution for vendor payments and request credit notes as needed.
* Prepare vendor account reconciliations and resolve any differences.
* Assist in maintaining the AP vendor master data.
* Process payment runs and investigate rejected payments.
* Support month‑end close activities and validate operational internal controls.
* Perform other ad‑hoc duties as requested.
Experience
2–3 years of accounts payable experience, with a strong operational background and the ability to process high invoice volumes. Analytical skills and a proactive approach are essential.
Education, Licenses & Certificates
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a relevant discipline.
