Senior Business Analyst (Life Insurance Exp)
12 Month Day Rate Contract
€500/day
Dublin (2-3 days onsite per week)
We're looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to help shape and deliver change projects that actually make a difference. You'll be the link between the business and technology teams — turning ideas, problems, and opportunities into clear solutions that move the dial.
What you'll be doing
* Partnering with business teams to uncover, understand, and define problems or opportunities.
* Conducting end-user and customer research to ensure solutions meet real needs.
* Working closely with IT and business stakeholders to explore and evaluate potential solutions.
* Writing clear business requirements — whether that's documentation, user stories, process flows, or wireframes — depending on the project approach.
* Supporting the creation of business cases and project scoping to get initiatives successfully off the ground.
* Collaborating with project managers, developers, testers, and business SMEs to deliver the right outcome.
* Helping with post-implementation activities and training so that change actually sticks.
What we're looking for
* 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in large or complex cross-functional projects.
* Proven ability to run workshops, manage stakeholders, and document requirements clearly.
* Skilled in using tools like process maps, wireframes, and user stories to bring ideas to life.
* Experience reviewing test scripts and supporting development and testing teams.
* Strong background in
life insurance
— good working knowledge of products, sales/admin processes, and regulations is key.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable influencing others, working with virtual teams, and liaising with external partners.
* Enthusiastic, curious, and adaptable — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
