Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and Coordination: Preparing and coordinating budgeting and forecasting activities, aligning financial targets with strategic goals.
* Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal controls, processes, and procedures.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and review key financial reports, including monthly performance summaries, variance analysis, and cost tracking for both local and divisional stakeholders.
* Manufacturing Metrics: Analyse key manufacturing metrics, contributing insight into cost drivers such as purchase price variance, inventory movements, and operational efficiencies.
* Gross Margin Improvement Programme: Contribute to the management of the Gross Margin Improvement Programme, supporting initiatives that enhance financial performance and cost optimisation.
* Capital Planning: Provide guidance on capital planning and expenditure tracking, including the accurate maintenance of fixed assets and alignment of project spend with budget.
* Ongoing Projects: Assist with ongoing projects, including system improvements and process optimisation.
Requirements
* Accounting Experience: Fully qualified accountant experience in a fast-paced finance environment.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
