Our Project Managers demonstrate a high level of technical, industry knowledge and skills, specifically in the areas of Project Management within Financial Services, Wealth Management and Fund Services.

You will be ambitious, enthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to solve complex problems in a fast‑paced environment. You have solid working experience and a deep understanding of the processes within Fund Services, Wealth Management or Financial Services. You must be confident, ambitious, and have the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to fast‑changing needs and environments while working independently.


Project Manager – Responsibilities

* Ensure successful, timely and effective delivery of change projects
* Develop project plans, budgets and schedules, manage tasks and teams on the project’s critical path
* Responsible for scope control with stakeholders, task execution with the project team and relevant upward communication to managers and senior stakeholders
* Help define process improvements and feedback for the project, including any strategies required for timely execution
* Gather or track the completion of necessary artifacts required for development of each project, including but not limited to risk assessments, technical architecture drawings, requirements, design specifications, testing, change plans, etc.
* Provide feedback to project stakeholders, including specification feedback, issue escalation to managers or scope changes/clarifications to project resources
* Update relevant project information and work across all departments to deliver projects that align to the organization’s strategic vision
* Assess and manage risks and issues, take corrective measures
* Guard the viability of the vision and the business case
* Flexibility to attend to urgent matters outside of normal business hours if/when needed

This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to attend the office two days a week.


Qualifications

* Must have a Financial Services background, preferably Fund Administration or Banking
* Must have 5+ years’ experience managing projects across business and technology
* Experience delivering Regulatory projects is an advantage
* Demonstrated technical and business project management skills
* Proven track record of effectively managing and delivering multiple projects on‑time, within scope and on budget
* Successful track record in working with business and technology teams to define, develop, test and launch new products/services
* Experience authoring project plans, building a project budget and technical requirements
* Experience with Agile, Lean, Waterfall, hybrid and other project management methodologies is beneficial
* Experience with Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence and other project management tools is an asset
* Ideally certified or studying towards a relevant professional Project Management certification (PMP, Scrum/Agile certificates)
