Legal Counsel One of Osbornes long-term partners, a superb medical devices company based on the Dublin/Wicklow border, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Salary:Competitive, DOE Hours:9am to 5:30pm Mon to Fri (Hybrid) Location: Dublin/Wicklow Role Overview: As Legal Counsel on this excellent team, you will provide legal and compliance expertise as required, potentially including: Corporate Governance and M&A processes.
Employment Law matters (including arising from M&A matters and general HR matters).
Protection of Intellectual Property, particularly with regard to medical device patents.
Drafting of Commercial Contracts and advising on Commercial Litigation.
Acquisition/Disposal of commercial real estate.
Providing commercially minded legal advice on complex issues related to data protection law, company law, employment law and other areas as they arise.
Preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, keeping up to date with relevant legal developments at local and international level.
Candidate Profile: To succeed in this role, candidates should have all or most of the following characteristics: Qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland.
5-7+ years PQE in Irish Law with demonstrable experience of Corporate M&A, Employment Law, IP Law, and Commercial Litigation.
Experience of leading corporate transactions.
Experience of representing corporate clients (ideally in the life sciences/pharma industries) and providing commercially minded legal advice.
Excellent analytical reasoning with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven and heavily regulated environment, demonstrating organisational and prioritization abilities.
