Are you a tenacious goal setter?Are you keen to represent Armatile as a leading distributer throughout Ireland?We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing salesDuties & ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties in their role asDistribution Sales Managementof territories in Republic of Ireland including Leinster, Munster and Connaught. Responsibilities include, but are not exclusive to;Visiting clients to carry out face-to-face visits to further develop/create working relationships with our current customer base and any new potential customersDeliver margin targets and ensure profitable account management.Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with tile retailers, builders' merchants, and distributors.Implement and manage a territory plan supporting regional growth objectives.Promote Armatile's full product range including tiles, adhesives, grouts, trims, manufactured materials, and associated products.Maintain regular contact with key all customers to build long-term relationships and ensure excellent service levels.Provide technical product support, samples, and promotional materials.Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional agreements in line with company guidelines.Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.Collaborate with the National Distribution Sales Manager and internal teams to support procurement, logistics, marketing, and customer service.Meet once per month with National Distribution Sales Manager to present data with regard to sales won/lost, quotations given, work in progress, competitor activity, sales and business opportunities and other relevant business informationProvide sales reports, updates on market trends, competitor activity, and weekly/monthly KPI performance.Maintain strong product knowledge, participate in customer, and staff training.Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and customer functions.Essential CriteriaFull clean driving licenseIT skills to include working knowledge of word, excel and emailMust be self-motivated, organised and have good interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively on your own as well as part of a dynamic creative teamAbility to problem solve and be creative when dealing with customers and co-workersDemonstrate entrepreneurial capabilities and the ability to win salesMust be flexible to work when and where requiredDESIRABLE CRITERIAExperience of sales in the tile industry or related industry, e.g. wooden flooring, carpets, vinyl etc.Experience in distribution sales and/or in a construction related or specification sales roleDesign qualification or experience working in a design environmentEducated to degree levelBenefits:Contributory pensionOn-site parking20 days annual leaveFriendly and relaxed work environmentHours of Works:40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm)Salary is negotiable - depending on qualification and experience
