ROLE: Technical Project ManagerLOCATION: CorkABOUT THE ROLE:The role requires a person skilled in project delivery within global, matrixed organisations, who is highly experienced at leading multiple workstreams and comfortable working across cultures and time zones. They will have prior technical experience of infrastructure (Network & Compute), SAP based warehouse management systems and history of working in a manufacturing environment.Key responsibilities:Manage project risks, stakeholder management, escalations, presenting to steering teams.Produce weekly status reports, governance decks and other project comms/updates.Produce comprehensive meeting minutes, action plans and manage follow up activities.Manage cross-functional teams to ensure all updates are provided in a timely manner.Consulting support across the various sites to other project managers, or staff performing a PM function through project lifecycle.Manage project pipelines and inter-dependencies IT PMO/portfolio forums.Engagement with Global Project Management Office and Planning/Strategy teams on new initiatives, policies and procedures, socializing and integrating across the business units.Supporting Project Management Audit Controls.ABOUT THE PERSON:7+ years of related IT Project Management experience, leading projects.Strong experience in both Waterfall and Agile Project Management Methodology.Strong experience in managing multiple projects, stakeholder management, presenting to leadership teams.Experience in Project Management tools (MS Project, Office 365 applications, Project & Portfolio tools).Comfortable using Azure Dev Ops (ADO).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal, written communication skills, presentation skills.Proven ability to manage business complexity and manage multiple priorities.Possess a proactive and self-motivated learning style.Ability to influence and align teams in a matrix and virtual environment.A tenacious executor with a proven track record of managing change and achieving strong results.Experience with leading and mentoring both project and business validation phases of work.An ability to extract or identify IT related asks / risks through discussions with cross functional or site-based teams (remote and local) without prior knowledge of full scope or specific technical expertise.Key Differentiators:Experience of matrixed, global organisations.Knowledge and technical understanding of IT Delivery projects, including Compute, Network, Software Solutions.Familiar with the governance and reporting requirements associated with regulated industries, such as SOX.Skilled at bringing order to complex projects where cross functional input will drive differing delivery methodologies.Ability to directly manage multiple projects, while engaging with the global PMO strategies/practices.Recognizing and integrating new policy changes into PM and IT Teams.Lead and influence IT project teams with no reporting line.Comfortable holding a project team accountable and driving them towards governance and reporting best practices.Excellent interpersonal skills, leading with behaviour/culture.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
