Project Lead for Engineering Operations

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of strategic engineering projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with all project and business safety and quality goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience working within a GMP regulated environment. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The role will involve:
* Scope new projects, estimate costs, secure capital approval, and manage project budgets.
* Accountable for project schedule, progress reporting, and risk management.
* Oversee design, construction, and commissioning and qualification activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure completion of project documentation per GDP requirements.
* Participate in and lead cross-functional teams as necessary.
Requirements include:
* Third-level qualification in engineering, microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or science.
* At least 8 years of experience in industry, of which not less than 3 years in pharma/medical device industry and 3 years in a project management role.
* Experience of delivering engineering projects within a GMP regulated environment.
* API manufacturing experience.
* Qualification in project management.
* Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience of SAP, LIM's, and/or other business systems.
* 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem-solving/decision-making methodology training.
* Experience of working within an engineer team in a multinational corporate environment.
