To learn more, visit us at Job DescriptionThis growth oriented position will have the primary responsibility of providing the full range of fund administration services to private equity and private credit team. This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information. A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other requestReview of Net Asset Value calculation and associated reporting.Coordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audit and other statutory reporting.Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations.Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and developing solutions for issuesLiase with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverablesInvolved in new funds on-boarding processResolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfactionIdentify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiencyResponsible of work allocation and team utilisation. Assist on coordination of resources and make sure that appropriate cross training and coverage is in place to meet client and organizational expectations for deliverables.Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described aboveQualificationsHold a university degree in Finance/ Accounting, qualified accountant or other relevant qualification preferredHave a minimum of 5 years progressive accounting/ audit/ fund administration experience in private credit or private equity with experience managing staff.In-depth understanding of fund industry. Good knowledge on private debt product would be an advantage.Strong computer skills with strength in Microsoft Office products and willing to embrace new technologies for efficient solution.
