Purpose of the Post
This post is central to the provision and management of the continuing care services in SFH. The role is responsible for the day-to-day organisational management of the services on the St. Finbarr’s Hospital Campus and involves the management of nursing and support staff. In addition, the post holder is a member of the Senior Nurse Management Team and is expected to function in the wider hospital context. The post holder is also responsible for key aspects of the clinical and educational development of the nursing staff, for the provision of mandatory training and the collation of records for all members of staff under the management responsibility of the nursing service.
