You will be responsible for managing and improving supplier quality performance within an electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and report supplier quality KPIs; drive corrective actions and performance improvements
Communicate quality issues to suppliers and ensure effective resolution
Flow down customer and regulatory quality requirements to suppliers
Support investigations of quality issues to determine supplier impact
Assist in onboarding, qualification, and auditing of new and existing suppliers
Review first article inspections and supplier documentation
Conduct supplier risk assessments, surveys, and audits
Maintain supplier quality system data (approval status, scope, requirements)
Evaluate and approve supplier process changes and material notifications
Support incoming inspection strategies and nonconformance assessments
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality system enhancements
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or Science (Level 8 or equivalent)
Experience with quality standards (e.g., ISO ****, AS/EN****, IPC standards) preferred
Knowledge of electronics and/or machining processes
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, 8D, and statistical methods
Auditing experience (supplier or QMS) advantageous
