Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to oversee kitchen operations, prepare high-quality dishes, and maintain food quality and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage kitchen activities efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with Singapore food safety regulations
Monitor food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily operationsManage inventory, stock ordering, and ingredient storage properly
Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs effectively
Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure freshness and quality
Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
Train and supervise kitchen staff when required
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used safely
Work closely with service staff to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction
Follow workplace safety and health guidelines at all times
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar kitchen role
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
Familiarity with food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
