The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical design, drawing production, and on-site coordination of a variety of projects, with a focus on high-end residential developments.
This is a hands-on position offering the opportunity to work closely with senior architects from concept through to completion, contributing meaningfully to the technical and aesthetic quality of each build.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using Archi CAD.
Collaborate with architects and design teams in developing project concepts into workable technical solutions.
Produce and coordinate planning, tender, and construction documents to a high professional standard.
Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications, building regulations, and design intent.
Liaise with engineers, contractors, clients, and local authorities throughout all project phases.
Contribute to material selection, detailing, and sustainable building solutions.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality control processes.
Requirements Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum 3+ years experience working in an architectural practice, preferably within the Irish or UK market.
Proven proficiency in Archi CAD (essential).
Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BC(A)R, and planning procedures.
Ability to produce high-quality detailed drawings with strong attention to accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for client and consultant engagement.
A proactive mindset with the ability to manage workload independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
Full driving licence and willingness to attend site visits nationwide when required.
