We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team specializing in residential contracting. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various residential construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all phases of residential construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to mitigate delays and ensure project success.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, and address any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure optimal performance and career development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential contracting, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or Procore, and MS Office Suite. PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
