Who We Are
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland offers a variety of residential, day, respite, assessment, and clinical services to individuals with varying degrees of intellectual disability.
Many of the people we support have additional needs, including autism, behaviours that challenge, and physical or sensory disabilities.
Services and supports are provided to over 6,500 people, and their families, throughout Counties Clare, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick, Roscommon, Tipperary, Wexford and Waterford.

Applications are invited for the following position:
INSTRUCTOR (SENIOR GRADE) / DAY SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR
Permanent Full Time Contract
LOCATION: LIMERICK AND WEST LIMERICK COMMUNITY SERVICES
At least 4 years experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis
Level 8 (Higher Degree) qualification in Teaching, Training and Development, Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Psychology or other relevant qualification.
(A Level 7 degree will be considered from applicants who have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in the intellectual disability sector)
Working knowledge of New Directions Framework (HSE)
Experience in leading a team of staff in the development and implementation of person centred planning framework
Experience of working with individuals with Autism and supporting the delivery of service to people who may display behaviours of concern
Experience in risk management
Experience in liaising with MDT teams, families and external agencies who may be involved in the support of people attending the services
Supervisory ability and capability in the management of staff and people supported by the services.
Ability to assist in service planning
Full Clean Drivers Licence
Knowledge of HIQA Standards and Regulations
