Overview
Shea Cullen Solicitors wish to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their team. The office is a busy general practice located in Dublin 2. Detailed training will be provided. The role involves providing support to solicitors across general practice areas including probate, conveyancing, and litigation, with general secretarial duties. Previous experience in residential conveyancing is valued but not essential. This is an onsite position with no remote working.
Responsibilities
* Liaising with clients and third party solicitors
* General file management, typing and scheduling
* Shared administration and day-to-day office tasks including accounts entry
* Handling files post completion, including stamp duty returns and registration applications
* Preparing loan documents and arranging closings
* Dealing with phone calls and emails promptly and efficiently
* Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

* Ability to prioritise and organise workload with minimum supervision
* Motivated with ability to act on one\'s own initiative
* Ability to work under pressure and strong attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
* Comfortable dealing with others by telephone, email, and letter
* Experience with Keyhouse and SAM Accounting is an asset
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise
