Job Opportunity
An experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in cost management is required to join our team.
* Assist in the preparation of detailed financial plans, estimates and tender submissions for civil and renewables projects.
* Support the commercial management of live construction projects by providing expert advice on cost control and procurement strategies.
* Oversee the preparation and tracking of subcontractor payments, valuations, and change orders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure effective forecasting and cost reporting, and contribute to the development of strategic business plans.
* Participate in procurement and negotiation processes with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
* Monitor site progress and attend regular project meetings as needed to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
* Degree qualified with at least 2+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying with a main building contractor in Ireland or the UK.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles.
* Ambitious and committed to delivering high-quality results.
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
