Child and Adolescent Psychologist Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our dedicated team.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people facing complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges.
* Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
* Offer consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
* Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with service protocols.
* Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and ongoing quality improvement.
* Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychology.
* Develop and deliver training and psychoeducational programmes for families and professionals.
Requirements:
* Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology (must be validated by the relevant authority).
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
* Eligible for registration with the relevant professional body.
* Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
* Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
* Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
* Previous experience in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
* Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, systemic therapy).
* Experience delivering training or psychoeducation to families or professionals.
