Highways and Active Travel Sector Leader
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Sustainable Infrastructure team as a Highways and Active Travel Sector Leader.
* Lead multidisciplinary design teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
* Manage a portfolio of projects including maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing communications across assigned projects
* Mentor and manage more junior Project Managers within the Highways and Active Travel Sector
* Supervise and guide both senior and junior team members within the Highways and Active Travel Sector
* Plan and oversee design work in collaboration with Engineering Discipline Leads and Technicians
* Prepare technical reports and tender documentation
* Coordinate effectively with other members of the project and wider infrastructure team
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures, and management systems and all relevant health and safety legislation
Required Skills and Qualifications
A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status
A minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and active travel schemes, including the delivery of schemes in Ireland in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines and/or NTA Project Approval Guidelines
Experience in the delivery of design and build projects is desirable
Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design teams
Strong experience in liaising with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets
Energetic, self-motivated professional with excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
Adaptable and collaborative team player
Capable of working independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as required
Possession of a full, valid driver's licence
