Four days a week (28 hrs p/w) 9.30am to 5.30pm
Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday every week. Flexibility to cover annual leave days where required.

Salary:
€27,856 per annum FTE; pro-rata for 4-day week: €22,284.80; Hourly rate: €15.30
This is a permanent role; not suitable for students seeking temporary work.

What you’ll do:
Assist the Manager in running the shop to reflect high standards and professionalism, supporting all operational areas.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the shop manager in all operational aspects.
2. Maintain standards that meet or exceed industry norms.
3. Ensure courteous and professional customer interactions.
4. Keep accurate sales and payment records; observe banking and cash-security procedures.
5. Support and manage staff, volunteers, and CE participants; recruit and support volunteers.
6. Maintain a safe environment for customers, staff, and volunteers; report hazards immediately.
7. Follow stock management procedures; maximize merchandising and display opportunities.
8. Act as a contact point for service users; promote Society services and fundraising.
9. Provide cover during holidays and absences where possible.
