Quality Supervisor
I am partnering with an established Irish manufacturing company to recruit a hands‑on Quality Supervisor for their team in Northwest Limerick. This is a key role with responsibility for leading quality on the production floor and ensuring products meet the required standards before they leave the facility.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the main point of contact for all quality issues on site and will work closely with the Production Supervisor and wider operations team. This role will suit someone who is confident on the floor, enjoys problem‑solving, and can influence standards through a practical, coaching style.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day quality activity across production
* Investigate issues, non‑conformances, and customer complaints
* Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
* Support and guide production teams to drive right‑first‑time quality
* Reduce scrap, rework, and recurring defects
* Work closely with the Production Supervisor to maintain a strong quality focus across operations
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement on the floor
Requirements
* 3+ years' experience in a quality or production role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong, hands‑on problem‑solving approach
* Ability to influence and coach in a production setting
* Good attention to detail and a focus on standards
* Self‑driven, confident, and comfortable working on your own initiative
