About this role:
The Change Management team is responsible for project delivery across the business including on-boarding new clients, delivering system enhancements and other projects for IT and the business. Ensuring the quality of the solutions delivered is a critical part of the project and purpose of this role is to support the business by carrying out Testing across all projects within Pepper.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the business and entails test planning, test script development, test execution and reporting of issues to ensure that all solutions meet the required quality criteria in advance of being deployed to live.

Please note that occasional weekend work may be required for certain projects to facilitate migrations as is standard in Financial Services.
Responsibilities
* Review and undertake static testing of business requirements documents (BRD) and functional specifications to understand the functional and technical requirements.
* Raise any issues identified with the BRD or functional specification documents with the document owner.
* Utilise the BRD and functional specification documents to create test scenarios and test scripts by analysing business requirements and engaging with project team members and subject matter experts, as necessary.
* Review and validation of existing test data and creation of new test data to meet test case requirements.
* Responsible for completing test execution and maintenance of the test management tools.
* Create test strategy and test closure documentation, managing the review and sign off processes.
* Support business teams through test execution phases by validating test scenarios and test scripts, and assisting with the raising of defects identified during test cycle.
* Log issues detected during testing to the test management system with high-quality low-level details.
* Collaborate with internal and external development teams to address issues found during each test phase, retest and validate fixes have resolved issues.
* Attend daily project calls to discuss progress of testing and defects that have been identified.
* Adhere to delivery deadlines and identify and raise risks through appropriate channels.
* Assist in the creation of test estimates for project timelines.
* Conduct quality review activities such as peer reviews of test cases, test plans, and test case execution.

Skills and Experience
* Minimum Third Level qualification in a relevant computer science / engineering field or equivalent (essential)
* Experience and knowledge of Code of Conduct Mortgage Arrears (CCMA), Consumer Protection Code (CPC) regulations (desirable)
* Experience in Automation Testing
* 2 to 3 years’ experience in Financial Services (desirable)
* Experience in test planning and test execution
* Familiar with Use Case / Test Methodology
* Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel
* Experience in the use of JIRA
* Problem solving and root cause identification skills
* Able to work effectively at all levels in the organization
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate client requirements into test cases
