Responsibilities (Text Only)
1. Leading and delivering customer executive briefings on Cloud Economics related topics.
2. Building customized cloud business cases for our most strategic customers. This requires engaging with customers’ executives and partnering with Technical Specialists and our Sales organization.
3. Developing new thought leadership content and scalable financial models and frameworks related to Cloud Economics topics. This requires partnering with Global Black Belts, Engineering, and other Subject Matter Experts.
4. Articulating the outcome of financial analyses, synthesizing complex analyses simply to describe the financial and technical benefits of Azure.
5. Being at the forefront of knowledge, learnings, and data about cloud business value, cost optimization strategies, the Azure product portfolio, and other relevant topics.
6. Other responsibilities that embody our culture and values.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required/Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance, or related field.
2. OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance, or related field.
3. OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a rapidly evolving business environment.
2. Comfort working at multiple levels, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed analysis.
3. Experience in customer-facing roles.
4. Experience working in highly matrixed organizations.
5. Experience driving high-impact projects spanning multiple teams with numerous stakeholders.
6. Deep modeling capabilities and experience working with financial systems.
7. Understanding of Azure product portfolio (or other Cloud or On-Premises offerings) and drivers impacting large-scale cloud migrations.
8. Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and technical depth.
9. Comfort engaging with senior executives, with strong presentation and communication skills.
10. Professional experience in strategy consulting, Finance & Strategy roles at software/data companies, or as a Finops practitioner.
