Accounts Assistant - Finance Department
Permanent Full Time Contract - 35 hours per week
Location: Kare Central Services, Athgarvan Road, Newbridge
Clerical Officer Grade III Salary Scale: Point 1 €31,118 to max Point 6 € 36,730
The successful candidate will report to the finance and compliance accountant and will be responsible for providing support to the wider finance team. Tasks will include reviewing petty cash transactions, assisting in month end accounting processing and other ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks. The Accounts Assistant will work closely with members of the Finance team, the Finance and Compliance Accountant and other departments to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for reviewing and processing the online petty cash portal to include all reconciliation of transactions
* Process invoices and charges periodically
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly housing accounts
* Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations as required
* Support the Procurement department
* Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
* Any other duties of a reasonable nature as agreed from time to time.
Requirements:
* Accounting Technician or part qualified accountant desirable
* Proven experience in an accounting role
* Strong excel and MS Office skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship
