About the Role:
EPS Group is seeking an Area Service Coordinator to join our Service & Repair Team based in the Cork Region. As a complete end-to-end solutions provider, EPS Group is involved in the design, build, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater assets and infrastructure across municipal (Local Authority) and industrial (Food and Beverage/Dairy/Pharmaceutical) markets.
This role, based at our head office in Mallow, involves coordinating day-to-day services for site-based teams to deliver comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and ICA service and maintenance to our clients in the Cork region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Communication: Manage customer needs from initial contact to developing and successfully rolling out a tailored service plan.
* Team Coordination: Liaise with EPS service teams to ensure efficient job arrangements and availability of correct parts prior to service works.
* Maintenance Management: Oversee both preventative and reactive maintenance programs for key customers, including relevant tendering applications.
* Scheduling: Coordinate and plan weekly schedules for service crews in collaboration with the wider team of coordinators.
* Client Liaison: Work with customer engineering teams, review service work report sheets and ensure timely invoicing in line with payment terms.
* Reporting: Communicate service reports to customers and issue proposals and recommendations for follow-up actions.
* Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all requirements for new plant and equipment repairs are assigned to jobs in conjunction with the workshop supervisor.
* Supplier Liaison: Procure correct replacement parts from suppliers.
* Emergency Response: Prioritise emergency calls and adjust work schedules accordingly while demonstrating flexibility.
* Site Visits: Conduct periodic site visits to establish customer needs and develop service delivery plans.
Key Competencies and Skills:
* Technical Proficiency: Strong technical and analytical skills with an understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
* Service Management: Proven ability to coordinate and manage a computerised Service Management System.
* Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and handle emergency callouts, adjusting work schedules as needed.
* Problem-Solving: Experience in fault finding and problem-solving in collaboration with on-site team members.
* Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness to drive departmental growth and build robust customer relationships.
* Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar service industry role is advantageous.
