Key Purpose of the Role
Tate Europe seeks a dynamic and experienced Director of Project Management to lead on-site delivery and execution of products across Europe. The role involves overseeing site safety, optimizing pre-delivery processes, and ensuring the timely and safe delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, extensive construction industry experience (preferably within Data Centers), and a proven record of operational excellence and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and mentor Tate's project management team to ensure successful project execution.
2. Oversee on-site delivery of products across Europe, ensuring safety compliance and adherence to timelines.
3. Develop and implement pre-delivery processes to optimize project safety and timeliness.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement operational improvements.
5. Drive initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
6. Monitor project performance metrics and report to senior management.
7. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the team and organization.
8. Support team development through guidance and mentorship.
9. Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet their needs.
10. Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and revenue growth.
11. Oversee design development and client technical submissions with engineering teams.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field; Master's preferred.
* Extensive experience in the construction industry, especially within Data Centres and interior fit-out.
* Proven track record in operational excellence and process improvements in project management roles.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
* Experience in multicultural environments and managing projects across countries is advantageous.
* PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
* Willingness to travel approximately 15-25% of the time.
