Systems Administrator (12-Month Contract)
Dublin 1 (Hybrid - office-based initially for training)
A respected and long-established professional membership organisation is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its Business Support team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent IT graduate or early-career systems professional to develop hands‑on experience supporting business‑critical systems in a collaborative and purpose‑driven environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring that internal systems and data are accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. Working closely with internal stakeholders and system providers, you’ll support system configuration, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update member, academic, and operational data with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Process transactions such as exam results and related data updates
Support system configuration to meet business and user requirements
Assist with system upgrades, testing, and transformation initiatives
Investigate and resolve system issues, working with internal teams and external providers
Provide technical support to staff (onsite and remote), explaining solutions clearly to non‑technical users
Generate reports and data extracts to support business decision‑making
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with data protection standards
Requirements:
Experience supporting or administering business systems (e.g. CRM, LMS, or student information systems)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
A proactive approach with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Good communication skills with the ability to support non‑technical users
Degree in IT or a related discipline (recent graduates welcome)
Experience in data management or systems administration is desirable but not essential
€2,000 completion bonus (subject to contract objectives)
