Area Manager Role
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a proactive approach, working closely with all levels of store teams to instill core values and commitments. As an Area Manager, you will oversee and lead the successful operation of multiple stores within your allocated area, ensuring overall performance, driving sales, and leading top talent.
Main Responsibilities
Commercial Influence
Conduct regular store visits, creating actionable strategies to drive sales performance based on gathered information. Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high brand representation standards.
Identify and act on commercial opportunities to maximise sales and profitability, implementing merchandise strategies, campaigns, and visual presentation standards.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within your region, devising and implementing robust succession planning to identify opportunities for development and improvement.
Motivate and inspire teams to achieve their highest potential, fostering a culture of excellence and developing initiatives to enhance store profitability.
Key Requirements
A minimum of a Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification. Experience in managing large turnover stores or a cluster of stores in fashion or drapery is essential.
At least 4 years' experience in a leadership role within large multi-site fashion or sports retail, with a proven track record of success.
