We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our project management initiatives. As Group Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by planning and executing high-impact projects.
About the Role:
* You will be responsible for developing and implementing development projects across various groups, including large-scale capital projects in factories and farms.
* Collaborate with senior management to create robust Capital Expenditure proposals, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
* Apply proven project management methodologies to ensure successful project execution, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, KPI measurement, and reporting.
* Define resource requirements internally and externally.
* Develop project plans, timelines, and associated communication documents for distribution among the project team and senior management.
* Foster and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to deliver on agreed requirements.
* Monitor project work for compliance with applicable codes/standards and engineering practices, safety, and environmental considerations.
* Manage multi-disciplinary functional relationships involving design, planning, civils, facilities, utilities, farms/mills, process technologies, environmental, and problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements:
* Hold a university degree, preferably in Engineering, with a Project Management qualification.
* Prior experience in the Food/Agriculture sector.
* A minimum of 10 years' work experience, with 4 years' experience in a project management role in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Development, construction, or similar.
* The ability to interact and operate at CEO and board level.
* A strong record of project delivery with demonstrated time, quality, and cost controls.
* Proficiency in using project management software.
