We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Limerick.
Responsibilities
Manage construction costs throughout all project stages.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Support other departments with commercial and contractual expertise.
Prepare interim and final valuations, applications for payment, and cost reconciliations.
Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts, including agreements and payment certification.
Measure project quantities in line with standard methods of measurement for payment and reporting purposes.
Assist in preparation of internal and client-facing monthly cost reports.
Support claims, variations, and delay substantiations with accurate records.
Ensure compliance with company HSQE Management Systems and contractual obligations.
Attend site meetings and provide commercial input to project teams.
Supervise and mentor Junior Quantity Surveyors where required.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Professional membership (SCSI/RICS or equivalent) desirable.
3–10 years' relevant experience on civil or building projects.
Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
Valid right to work in Ireland
