Job title:Analyst – Private Credit (Rotational Programme)Job Location:Blackrock, Co. DublinDivision:Investment and Investor RelationsContract type:PermanentAbout the RoleDunPort Capital Management is seeking to hire a highly motivated Analyst (or Analysts) on a rotational programme across the Investor Relations and Investment teams. The ideal candidate will have (i) 1-2 years' experience in a corporate lending (private credit or corporate banking), corporate finance or private equity environment; or (ii) relevant internship experience completed during their undergraduate / graduate studies. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate (or candidate graduating in 2026) to build a career in private debt asset management. While we can offer some flexibility around the start date, the role is expected to commence in September 2026.The successful candidate will complete two rotations of c.6–9 months across:Investment Team: gaining hands-on experience in deal execution, credit analysis and portfolio monitoring.Investor Relations: supporting investor communications, fundraising, reporting and data management. You will work closely with senior professionals across the business, gaining exposure to all stages of the investment lifecycle and the firm's investor base.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestment Team RotationAssisting with due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including review of financial information, legal documentation and market data.Supporting the preparation of Investment Committee materials, including credit papers and supporting analysis.Assisting with execution of investment opportunities, working closely with senior team members and external advisers.Preparing, maintaining and reviewing financial models for new and existing investments.Analysing financial statements and performance metrics and contributing to monthly and quarterly internal reporting.Conducting industry and market research, including identification of key investment drivers and risks.Attending meetings with the management teams of potential investee and portfolio companies.Supporting the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, including covenant compliance, performance tracking and risk assessment.Investor Relations RotationAssisting in the preparation of quarterly investor reports, capital account statements and valuations.Supporting the management of fund flows, including investor drawdowns and distributions in line with scheduled interest payment dates.Ensuring timely and professional correspondence with investors and contributing to ongoing relationship management.Preparing responses to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and ad hoc investor information requests.Setting up, populating and maintaining virtual data rooms to support investor due diligence, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.Updating historic loan data and track record on a quarterly basis in coordination with the investment team.Assisting in the preparation of marketing presentations and materials for prospective investors.Supporting public relations and marketing activities for fundraising efforts, including logistics for investor conferences and the annual Investor Day.Helping coordinate onboarding of new investors and maintaining the investor portal.Attending weekly team meetings and preparing detailed meeting minutes and action logs.Participating in strategic projects, including ESG initiatives, data enhancement and other key workstreams.Experience and SkillsExcellent overall academic profile with a desire to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., CFA or ACA); support for exams will be provided by DunPort.Relevant internship or work experience in corporate lending (private credit or corporate banking), corporate finance, transaction services or private equity is an advantage but not essential.Strong analytical capability, both quantitative and qualitative, with the ability to interpret financial information and identify key value and risk drivers.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within small, collaborative teams.Evidence of commercial thinking and curiosity about businesses, markets and investment themes.Positive, flexible and proactive 'can-do' attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and work to tight deadlines.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage competing demands and allocate time efficiently.Good proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint for financial analysis, reporting and presentations.BenefitsWorking at DunPort offers excellent benefits including:Hybrid working options.Learning and development opportunities designed to support full career development within the organisation.Support for professional qualifications, such as CFA or other relevant certifications, including study leave and exam sponsorship.Contribution to health insurance and pension.Summary of the BusinessDunPort Capital Management is a leading Irish based alternative investment firm specializing in private debt investment strategies.
