KNOW THE ROLE

To ensure the efficient handling, organisation, and flow of stock, supporting the store's operational excellence and contributing to an exceptional customer experience through accuracy, care, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

* Receive, check, and process stock deliveries, promptly reporting any discrepancies
* Maintain a safe, organised, and tidy stockroom, ensuring merchandise is handled with care
* Follow company procedures for deliveries, returns, and special orders
* Keep accurate records of returned stock and liaise with suppliers where required
* Support stocktaking preparation and contribute to accurate inventory control
* Merchandise stock according to company standards, ensuring products are accessible and well-presented
* Meet deadlines for internal distribution and store replenishment
* Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers or colleagues, both in-person and by phone
* Use basic Excel and digital systems to maintain accurate stock data
* Comply with security protocols and report any issues or suspicious activity
* Operate equipment safely, adhering to all health & safety procedures
* Support the team with general duties, as directed by management
* Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Reliable with a strong sense of accountability
* Good numerical and IT skills, including basic Excel
* Physically able to carry out stockroom tasks, including lifting and moving stock
* Experience or interest in logistics, warehousing, or retail operations (desirable)
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
* Professional, with a customer-focused attitude
* Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn
