This role involves developing original publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and meeting materials while ensuring first-time-right delivery in line with the defined scientific narrativeNon-Negotiables (Essential Requirements)To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in medical communications.Proven Track Record: An established track record of producing high-quality medical communications outputs (such as primary and review manuscripts, abstracts, and posters).Guidelines & Compliance: A strong understanding of industry work processes and Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines.Education: Minimum of a science degree or equivalent qualification.Language Skills: Excellent written and oral English.Desirable CriteriaAn advanced degree (MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD)Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Role ResponsibilitiesContent Generation & Quality ControlResearch and write original content for publication activities, slide presentations, satellite symposia (agendas, slide content, speaker briefings), and advisory board reports.Deliver scientifically and grammatically accurate content that is evidence-based, fully referenced, and aligned with internal quality standards.Perform internal scientific reviews and quality control checking or proofreading to ensure alignment with scope and scientific messages.Strategy & ComplianceParticipate in strategic and tactical publications planning and related research.Follow all internal processes regarding workflow, deliverable development, and global standard operating procedures (SOPs), including archiving and training compliance.Team Collaboration & AdaptabilityDemonstrate a strong command of assigned therapeutic areas and products, with the flexibility to work across multiple brands and different therapeutic teams.Mentor internal team members and assist with the onboarding of new joiners.Provide valuable input to aid in troubleshooting and problem-solving across projects.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Quality and Accuracy: High degree of scientific and medical accuracy, with rigorous attention to detail.Efficiency: Adherence to quality, SOP compliance, timeliness, and productivity targets.Communication: Well-developed professional written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to condense complex concepts for specific audiences.Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills, adeptness at multitasking, and sound analytical thinking.Resilience: Flexibility to adapt to change and the ability to work effectively under tight time constraints within a team-oriented environment.
