Financial and Management Accountant - PermanentDublin 18 HYBRIDRole PurposeAs a Financial & Management Accountant, you will be a key partner within the financefunction, working closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure accuratefinancials reporting, deliver actionable insights, strengthen processes, and assist withfunding and financial planning activities.Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly Financial & Management Reporting• Complete month‑end close, ensuring timely and precise delivery of statutory and internalfinancial statements.• Prepare management reports, variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast), andpresent insights to Senior Management and other divisions.• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, highlighting trends, anomalies, andcorrective actions.Business Partnering• Partner with commercial and operational teams to support decision‑making via P&Lanalysis, cost control, margin tracking and KPI reporting.• Translate financial data into commercial insights and present findings in operationalreviews and budget sessions.Financial Planning & Forecasting• Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, consolidating inputsacross functions.• Model revenue and cost projections, evaluate scenario impacts, and support rollingforecasts.Process Enhancement & Controls• Maintain a strong control environment over all finance-related activities, ensuring riskmitigation and compliance.• Identify improvement areas across accounting and reporting processes; design,document, and implement solutions.• Validate controls, manage ad‑hoc auditing tasks, and ensure compliance with grouppolicies.Treasury & Cashflow Management• Monitor daily cash flow, forecast liquidity needs and ensure effective working capitalmanagement (AR, AP), debt servicing and internal borrowing.Ad‑hoc Analysis & Special Projects• Lead or support transformation initiatives, finance system implementations, and one-offfinancial modelling tasks.• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives and deliver insightful reports to seniormanagement.The PersonQualified or part-qualified accountant(ACA/ACCA/CIMA).3+ experience in a finance role, ideallywithin banking/ financial services and/orleasing.Strong grasp of IFRS and monthly closeprocedures. Proficient in Excel (pivottables, modeling).
