Occupli Consultancy now seeks a Health & Safety Consultant to join the expanding team of health and safety professionals based out of the Cork office.
Responsibilities
Provide consultancy services to meet client requirements, working with a large portfolio of clients.
Support the wider consultancy team to provide a range of health and safety related services to clients including audits, inspections, safety management system development, etc.
Work both under own initiative and as part of the consultancy team.
Qualifications
Be qualified / graduating in the Higher Diploma in Health & Safety in ****.
Have previously achieved a Level 7 or 8 third level qualification in science or engineering.
Have at least 3-5 years' experience in industry, manufacturing or construction.
Be willing to work towards Chartered Member of IOSH achieving that or equivalent.
Have strong knowledge and understanding of the role of a health & safety professional, and relevant legislation.
Have excellent report writing capability.
Ideally have the ability to deliver training in H&S related areas.
Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Role specifics
This is a full-time permanent role based in our Cork office; however there is the possibility of some remote based working.
The role will report directly to the Consultancy Manager in Cork.
A full driver's license is essential.
