Staff Grade Physiotherapist (Permanent, Full Time)
Duties And Responsibilities
* Demonstrate sufficient clinical knowledge and evidence based practice to carry out duties and responsibilities of the post.
* Work with the Physiotherapy Manager and colleagues to ensure the delivery of a client centred quality Physiotherapy service.
* Display effective communication and interpersonal skills with other healthcare professionals, patients and families.
* Demonstrate ability to plan and deliver patient centred care in an effective, resourceful and efficient manner.
* Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.
* Be responsible for client assessment, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans that are in line with best practice.
* Work within own scope of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct and clinical governance.
* Operate within the scope of practice of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists or equivalent governing body.
Requirements
* BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
* Have CORU registration and be a member or eligible for membership of the Irish Society of Physiotherapists (ISCP).
* A minimum of 1 years post graduate experience in Physiotherapy Services: Orthopaedics (Inpatient) is essential. Orthopaedic/MSK outpatient, Respiratory (surgical and medical) and care of the aging patient is desirable.
* Currently hold a valid work permit or have existing authorisation to work within the EU.
