The
Broker Support Lead
acts as the main point of contact and support for broker partners. Your role combines
service delivery, team leadership, business growth, and operational oversight
.
In simple terms:
* You make sure brokers get excellent support and service.
* You lead a team that supports these brokers.
* You help the business grow by enabling brokers to sell more effectively.
* You ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
* Provide top-quality service to brokers via phone, email, and in-person support.
* Resolve issues efficiently and escalate when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records following regulatory and internal standards.
* Manage the
broker support team:
Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide training, coaching, and mentoring and conduct quality assurance checks.
* Encourage brokers to generate
new business opportunities
aligned with sales plans.
* Collaborate with Underwriting and Broker Development Managers to exceed sales targets.
Skills & Competencies Required
* CIP qualification -
is a must
* Solid understanding of
general insurance principles and underwriting processes
