Assistant Quantity Surveyor | South DublinReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Main Contractor€45,000-€55,000 + BenefitsA leading top-tier building and civil engineering contractor is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major project based in South Dublin.This contractor has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, complex projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and infrastructure, and is known for strong project delivery, repeat clients, and excellent career development opportunities.The RoleWorking closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will support the commercial management of the project from early stages through to completion.Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with cost management and budget control
• Preparing subcontractor packages and supporting procurement
• Measurement, valuations, and cost reporting
• Assisting with interim valuations and final accounts
• Supporting subcontractor payments and variation assessments
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Ensuring commercial procedures and controls are followedRequirements
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 1–3+ years' experience in a similar role with a main contractor or PQS
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational xyswxtq skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
