Team Leader – Residential and Respite Service
Location: Longford, County Longford, Ireland
Employment type: 9 months to 1 year, 39 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Maintain highest attainable standards of person‑centred care.
Promote optimum independence and choice for service users.
Enhance quality of life across all aspects of daily living within a regulated framework.
Manage and co‑ordinate safe and effective provision of quality care in residential or respite services.
Be mentored by PIC, with PPIM oversight.
Qualifications
Possess a BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7, QQI) – or be registered in the Intellectual Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered.
Relevant experience working with persons with an intellectual disability.
Knowledge of residential, social and recreational needs of persons with an intellectual disability.
Experience in advocacy and individual personal plans/person‑centred planning.
Experience taking the lead in a relevant unit/centre.
Management experience desirable but not essential.
