Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Are you an Accounts Assistant looking for a fresh start? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s finance team. This opportunity includes accurate processing of supplier invoices and reconciliation of the bank accounts.
Key Responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable
* Review invoices received and distribute them to relevant departments for approval.
* Follow up to ensure timely approval and posting of invoices.
* Perform supplier reconciliations in accordance with procedures.
* Request supplier statements to ensure there are no outstanding balances.
* Liaise with suppliers and other departments to resolve any queries
* Prepare monthly recharge invoices.
Banking
* Conduct weekly and monthly bank account reconciliations
* Perform Revolut and credit card reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable
* Reconcile aged debtors for invoice discounting and provide daily invoicing details to the bank.
* Provide holiday/leave cover for credit control.
* Set up new customers in the system through our system
* Other finance duties as required by Group Finance Manager or members of the finance team
Requirements for the Role
* Experience within an Accounts team environment would be a distinct advantage.
* Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* IT Skills – Excel, Word & In house systems.
